Under this heading there are a few of my old Infra-red images taken on Kodak High Speed IR film. Most though are taken on an old Nikon D70 using an almost opaque IR filter on the lens. It took a while to get the technique sorted out. The lens has to be focused without the filter attached, then auto focus switched off. The filter is then re-attached and I find in good sunlight an exposure of about 1 second is about right. Checking the histogram confirms the best exposure. Sounds long-winded but it becomes automatic after a few shots.
