Mardley Heath Wood A project in lock-down
Back in the Spring of 2020 at the start of the Covid lock-down we discovered a wood near to where we live which was an active gravel quarry many years ago and has now completely treed over. The following images were taken over the course of three visits when the trees were in early leaf. I took the Nikon D80 which has been converted to infrared. This is the best time of the year to capture infrared with the fresh new growth of the trees. In late afternoon the sun was low in the sky making it a magical place. Hope you enjoy viewing the images as much as I did taking them.
